LocoMotion (2010)

Short, Poetic Drama   |   7 Mins.

LocoMotion attempts to blur the line between primordial man and modern man while exploring an alternative look at space and objectivity.

Despite being one of the first films I produced in graduate school, LocoMotion is still one of my favorites. While there is an underlying story, the main inspiration for this film comes from the 1980's film, Raging Bull, and the way editor Thelma Schoonmaker uses animal sounds during the final fight sequence to emphasize the savage nature of the boxing match.
